Meagan & Joseph
August 16th 2025 · Galveston, TX
We’re keeping our wedding simple, heartfelt, and close to home, just the way we imagined. Only our closest loved ones will be joining us to celebrate this special day, and we’re so thankful you’re one of them.
The Relationship
Their first date was filled with easy conversation and shared laughter. At the time, they agreed to just be friends. But as the weeks passed, they kept finding themselves drawn to each other’s company. One quiet evening, after lingering conversation and a few exchanged glances, they shared a kiss. And from that moment on, everything began to fall into place.
The Engagement
Joseph had planned to propose to Meagan on her birthday during a trip to San Antonio. But the ring didn’t want to wait. On a rainy day on Galveston Island, with the pier nearly empty and the sound of the water all around them, Joseph got down on one knee and asked Meagan to marry him. No big crowd, no distractions, just the two of them, and a moment they’ll hold onto forever.
The Wedding
We know we're moving from engagement to wedding a little quicker than most, and it's for a very special reason. Meagan’s dad was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer, and his prognosis has changed. More than anything, we want him to be part of this day—to witness it, celebrate it, and be present in the memories we’ll carry with us for a lifetime. Thank you so much for helping us make this happen.

Join us on August 16, 2025, at Carr Mansion in Galveston.
The ceremony begins at 6:30 PM, followed by an evening of food, drinks, and dancing.
As a fun touch, we kindly ask guests to wear dark floral attire to match the mood and style of the evening. Think romantic, moody, and garden-inspired just like these two lovers.
